Day 7 March Garden Update 1 Even Old Canes Still Have Life
Just when I wondered if the old canes on my roses still had any life left... ***** 1 year ago today, Pad See-Ew (Thai Rice Noodles with Soy Sauce, Broccoli, Chicken, and Eggs).

    Very lovely! Give it some alfalfa meal (Armstrong has this or you can get some at a horse feed store) and see if new canes will emerge.

    I remember you telling me this. I just gotta get around to it one of these days. The dirt around it is very compacted. Should I replant? Or loosen the dirt around it?
