Los Cinco Puntos - Los Angeles

Los Cinco Puntos - Los Angeles 1

Cousin Q asked if I wanted to try a place that made thick handmade tortillas for their soft tacos.

Sure!

What's los cinco puntos? The five points as the market is located at the intersection of five streets.

You can see them making the tortillas.

Los Cinco Puntos is mainly a market with various meats and offal on steam trays.

Sheep's head and intestines too.

And a whole variety of chili peppers.

We brought our $2.50 tacos home. They were quite large and a bit messy with all the guacamole.

No matter. The tortillas were fresh and warm and the fillings were plentiful. We each had one and were stuffed.
