Nearly Wild Rose

5.21 Nearly Wild Rose 1

I bought Nearly Wild rose online. There were two, or was it three, that came as just bareroots. Literally. Just a twig and roots. No dirt.

5.21 Nearly Wild Rose 2

I soaked them in water to rehydrate. Then planted them.

5.21 Nearly Wild Rose 3

I like the simple five-petal appearance that makes it look "nearly wild."

Other garden updates.

  1. I like the simplicity of the single roses, too. Usually, singles bloom more frequently -- hope yours does well.

  2. Anne,
This one unfortunately didn't survive. :( My red Paul Ecke Jr. is still going strong though.

Thank you for stopping by. I try to respond in a timely manner, but am not always able to do so. I do read every comment, however, and eventually respond to each and every one. If you're awaiting a response, check the post in which the comment is made or click the "Subscribe by email" option.
