Princess Party Cookbook by Annabel Karmel and Giveaway

Princess Party Cookbook by Annabel Karmel & Giveaway 1

Did you stay up late or wake up early to watch Prince William marry Kate Middleton?

Did you pretend to be a princess when you were a little girl?

That would be yes and yes for me. :)

Several months ago, I received a review copy of the "Princess Party Cookbook" by Annabel Karmel and knew right away that it was perfect for a giveaway.

The "Princess Party Cookbook" features more than 100 recipes and fun ideas for holiday, dress up, or fairy tale themed parties. I don't even know if I need to say anything because the pictures rather speak for themselves.

No party is complete without fun cupcakes.

So far not much of a cookbook review, huh?

Here's the nitty-gritty. Karmel is the bestselling author of more than 20 books on nutrition and cooking for babies, children, and family. She's the UK's leading expert on feeding children. She also has a popular line of meals for children in supermarkets across the UK and has co-branded with Disney a range of foods for young children. Which means that in the 155 pages of the "Princess Party Cookbook," there are more than 100 sweet and savory recipes, and a whole bunch of ideas, to throw fun and creative parties for little girls. Jewelry, Valentine's Day, spring, movie stars, fairies, the beach, and Christmas are just some of the themed recipe and craft ideas. I found myself thumbing through this book again and again, earmarking ideas for future party ideas for all the little nieces in my family. So if you have a little girl who loves being a girl -- flowers, fairies, pink, and all things cute -- you'll find this book pretty useful.

Deadline to leave a comment is 11:59 p.m., Monday, May 9th. I will pick a winner using random.org and update this post. Make sure you leave contact information or check back to see if you've won. After three days, if I don't hear from you, I will pick a new winner. I've had to draw for new winners in recent giveaways after previous winners neither responded to my emails, nor checked to see if they've won, so this actually does happen.

Unfortunately, this giveaway is only open to US residents.

Good luck! And thanks to Cristina Suarez of Simon & Schuster for sponsoring this giveaway.

May 10, 2011 Update:

Thanks to Random.org, the giveaway winner is #14.

Congratulations Sabre! Please check your email and send me your name and mailing info so the publicist can send you the book.

Thanks everyone for participating!

  8. Sometimes I wished I had kids so I could have a reason to tackle all these fun baking projects. It's just not the same baking and going through all that work just to be enjoyed alone. Hmm, maybe I'll start looking into recipes for creative dog treats.
