While lil' sis and the middle '87 were enjoying cocktails and oyster shooters at Butterfly Restaurant, back at the Ferry Building, I met up with Chuck of Sunday Nite Dinner and FoodGawker. He had to finish up some work and then rushed over in a taxi so I wouldn't have to wait long. How nice! And really, it was great to finally meet up and find out that he was just as nice in person as I thought.
I opted for Imperial Tea Court since a tea house seemed like a relaxing place to sit and chat.
We drank tea, of course.
Something with rose petals for me.
And a chrysanthemum tea for him.
Petals only.
Then lil' sis and the middle '87 arrived and it was time to go back across the Bay.
Total bill for two cups of tea? $14! Really! The teas were nice, but they do place a premium on atmosphere.
Bye Ferry Building! You were more hype than substance for me.

Yeah I bought tea there too, soo expensive! I can definitely find cheaper Jade Pearl tea in SGV, and if I want to pay a premium for atmosphere, the loud and bustling ferry building won't do it for me.
ReplyDeleteGP,
ReplyDeleteYeah, I don't know why they charged so much just for tea.
