Lovely beach, but we needed rocks.
So we drove to another spot. I really liked the canopy of trees lining the path.
And the light through these branches too.
Hmm. The grassy path makes me think we'll just hit more beach...
...which we did.
Ironically, we did find tide pools...
...at our campground, Barview Jetty County Park - Rockaway Beach - Oregon, when we headed back for breakfast.
Mostly barnacles and seaweed.
Some small fish too, but no sea anemones, which are my favorite part of exploring tide pools.
So I went back to shore and enjoyed taking pictures of my brother pointing out things to lil' sis instead.
The middle '87 then joined them too.
Our lackluster search for tide pools came to an end and it was time to head back to the campsite for breakfast.
