Back in April, shortly after Kiki Bakery in Monterey Park had just opened, I stopped in with my third cousin who wanted some nice bread and rolls to take back with her to Orange County.
This location was pretty spacious, with a boba shop inside.
They have panda cookies here too!

But I really think it's the Chinese breads and rolls that Kiki Bakery does well.
A potato salad bun?
I had my eye on this Mt. Fuji milk bun.
The bun staved off our hunger while waiting for dinner across the street at Daikokuya Original Noodle & Rice-Bowl - Monterey Park. In fact, the couple next to us salivated at the buttery, milky smell of my roll, so I shared some with them.

The panda looks angry but in a cute way. Like the Miyazaki studio ghibli reference. Now if they only made a herring pie.. ;)
