Latourell Falls - Columbia River Gorge - Oregon

Day 4.8 Latourell Falls - Columbia River Gorge - Oregon 1

After Bridal Veil Falls, we skipped over Shepperd's Dell Falls to go to one of my other favorite waterfalls, Latourell Falls. Just a short walk down and you can see that radioactive yellow lichen.

The volcanic rock formations are pretty cool too.

Because just one set of photos wasn't enough.

I quite like the panoramas I stitched together.

From where I stood near the end of the path, I was getting slightly sprayed from the waterfall. The video doesn't really do it justice. If it doesn't show up here, you can also watch it on my YouTube channel.

The bridge of the old highway by Latourell Falls is also one of my favorites.

This is up by the parking lot, but it just looks so nice.

That's the last waterfall of the day. :(

But don't worry, we're headed to Crown Point Vista House, where you can get a majestic overview of the the Columbia River Gorge.
