Downtown Portland - Oregon Redux

After leaving the Portland Farmers Market at PSU - Portland - Oregon, Darlene of Blazing Hot Wok and I walked around downtown.

The Oregon Historical Society and Oregon History Building is right across the street from the farmers market. Like the 3-D effect? It's a mural.

But I'll backtrack a bit and include these photos of us coming over the bridge toward downtown.

This photo is for lil' sis of her favorite Honkin' Huge Burritos. Because they're big. Really big, says lil' sis whose recommendations for food are often based on size. Haha.

I wanted to visit the smallest park in the world (the things I do for you guys!) and knew it was on Front Avenue/Naito Parkway, but had forgotten the cross street.

The guy inside the tourist information office said that was just "crock" for tourists and that it doesn't exist. Nonetheless, he looked it up at my insistence and lo and behold (!), Mill Ends Park, the smallest park in the world, does, in fact, exist.

Ha!

Darlene was amused that I was right and the guy working at the tourist information office was wrong. Hehe.
