I looked back at the strip mall and saw a huge sign for nuoc mia (Vietnamese sugarcane juice).
And water.
And fro-yo.
And Hot Vit Lon (Vietnamese Fetal Duck Eggs).
Haha. Gotta love Vietnamese industriousness. It must work because they've been in business for years and years.
Fetal duck eggs are 99 cents each or $19/20. Hot ga lon (Vietnamese fetal chicken eggs) are 50 cents each. They also sell fresh duck eggs $8/dozen and fresh chicken eggs $5/20. Salted duck eggs $5/a jar of 6 eggs. They also have quail eggs $2/dozen and goose eggs $25 each. Hmm. Wonder why are goose eggs so expensive?
The sugarcane juices all have various buy whatever, get whatever free options. We ended up getting 3 medium sugarcane juices, get 1 free for $9?
A perfect complement to our Vietnamese picnic.
