After leaving the greenhouse, my cousin and I made our way to the Chinese Garden. The garden has settled in a little more since my visit to the Huntington's Chinese Garden in 2008. Less bare spots. More info about the garden in my previous post. So just mainly pictures here.
We just did one tour around the lake.
This side goes toward the tea house and then the Japanese Garden.
Part one was a ticklish mimosa tree and a very suggestive coconut seed at The Huntington Library, Art Collections, and Botanical Gardens - San Marino. Followed by a visit to the Chinese Garden and the Japanese Garden.

I haven't been to Chinese gardens since 2008, I think, so it's nice to see it filling in. That third shot is positively dreamy.

ReplyDeleteI still have to blog Portland's Chinese Garden. I think you'll like it a lot more. It's been open for a decade, I think? Much more filled in. I also like the tea house a lot more than the Huntington's as it's a real tea house with gorgeous views.
