Patisserie Philippe Macarons - San Francisco From Gourmet Pigs

Patisserie Philippe Macarons - San Francisco From Gourmet Pigs 1

Last April, after a trip back from San Francisco, Gourmet Pigs brought me a present! A box of half a dozen macarons from Patisserie Philippe in San Francisco.

So pretty!

It was such a lovely unexpected treat.

I forgot what all the flavors were, but they were all so good.

I hastily set up pictures and snapped away.

Oops! Forgot to pour the tea.

Then the two of us happily sat down to a proper afternoon tea.

Thanks Gourmet Pigs! She's the best! She even once brought me shortbread cookies from her lunch at The French Laundry.

  3. CC,
I know! I was so excited when my friend gave me these. I've tried Miette's and they were too dense and chewy for my taste.

    WeeMo,
    So delicious!

    BPO Girls,
I wish I had discovered macarons when I was in Paris long ago. Next time!
