Vertical Wine Bistro - Pasadena (Old Town)

Vertical Wine Bistro - Pasadena (Old Town) 1

After dinner at Tibet Nepal House - Pasadena, we went around the corner to Vertical Wine Bistro. The entrance was so cute! I love string lights. Creates such an intimate ambiance.

The restaurant was on the opposite side. We headed into the bar/lounge area.

The good thing about going out with bloggers is that they have connections. In this case, Gourmet Pigs and Mattatouille were friends with David Haskell, the wine guy at Vertical Wine Bistro, who left the week after we stopped by. But while he was here, he poured us this lovely bottle of wine. Vertical Wine Bistro features 400 wines from around the world, and 80 wines by the glass.

And sent out complimentary desserts. Ice cream cookie sandwich.

And churros with chocolate dipping sauce.

Even though the desserts were complimentary, we did leave tips. Gotta cover the waitstaff.

A great end to the evening.

I just love those string lights. A really nice, cozy space in Old Town Pasadena for wine and intimate conversation, if you're so inclined.
