Day 13: Still a Really Great Recipe for Banana Bread

Day 13 Still a Really Great Recipe for Banana Bread
Since my youngest aunt was slightly disappointed I didn't make any banana bread to pass out for Tet (Vietnamese New Year), I decided to make another batch and to use the opportunity for nicer photos. If you haven't tried it yet, the recipe still makes really great Banana Bread. Seriously. Enjoy! ***** 1 year ago today, one of my most popular recipes - Ca Phe Sua Da/Ca Phe Sua Nong (Vietnamese Milk Coffee Iced/Vietnamese Milk Coffee Hot).

  1. what the f... stop reading my mind and making stuff that plan on making! lol ;P

We just got some bananas yesterday, so it'll be a few days until they're ripe enough. Until then, I've got my carrot bread!

  5. Awww I wish I checked this website and got my hands on this recipe before this wknd! I made banana bread for my bf's parents yesterday (because I didn't want to meet them for the first time empty handed) and I bet this would have been a hit with them. (They still liked the version I made...except it came out of a Trader Joes box, hehe). I try to bake from scratch as much as I can, but his house is not stocked for baking, so I have to resort to mixes when I'm short of time. >_<

    Tania,
When did I last make pumpkin bread? You mean my pumpkin cinnamon rolls? I have a thing for pumpkins too.

  8. I made it, I made it! Thanks for the recipe!

I was afraid that using pink yogurt (cranberry and raspberry...yeah, that's all we had, haha), would make it weird, but it didn't affect it in any noticeable way.

  9. Christine,
Your banana bread looked great! And I couldn't see the pink at all. Now which of my other recipes are you gonna try next? ;)
