Tomato Harvest

9.1 Tomato Harvest

My first tomatoes only yielded this sad harvest. It wasn't so much the fault of the kiddie pool garden, but because I was out of town for days at a time this summer and just didn't have time to water the plants regularly.

Other garden updates.

1 year ago today, a garden tour and outdoor party.
2 years ago today, whipped cream, clotted cream, butter with a handheld mixer.

  2. hi wc - bummer about the small tomato harvest. we have cherry, pear and early girl. my daughter likes the bigger ones. we have so many that we have to give some to our neighbors. some were from plants, others grew from the scraps from our compost pile.

  3. Well, that stinks! Last year's harvest was a disappointment. The only reason I had a decent amount of tomatoes was because I planted about 10 plants. Hopefully this year will be better.

  4. Co Toan,
Thanks for the warm welcome. :)

    CC,
I looove tomatoes. I'd gladly take your extras.

    DP,
I planted a bunch too and they all wilted in the heat. And my lack of care. :P
