Kim Lien Produce - Westminster (Little Saigon)

Kim Lien Produce - Westminster (Little Saigon) 1

While waiting for our table at Ngu Binh Restaurant - Westminster, we went a few doors down to check out the tropical fruit at Kim Lien Produce. I've noticed more of these shops that specialize in selling only fruit cropping up in the last year or so.

Jackfruit and a big pile of garlic.

Coc (Vietnamese ambarella). I was tempted to get some, but I prefer my coc fresh and bigger. Hehe. But really, fresh coc is like a tart green mango. So good dipped in chili salt.

That box of rambutans was $10! I didn't end up buying anything, but Tony of SinoSoul bought several oro blanco grapefruit and they were the juiciest, sweetest ever.

2 years ago today, Chinese hot and sour soup redux.
3 years ago today, one of my favorite drinks, the smooth and creamy Sinh To Bo (Vietnamese Avocado Shake).

  1. Cool place! I will have to go here with my sister in la when I'm back in town.

  2. Anna,
There are lots of tropical fruit stores around town!
